It's official. I've quit Barr Nunn after 8 years, bought a 2012 Columbia glider and am putting it on with Landstar in the about 2 weeks.

I was with Barr Nunn making real good money in a new Cascadia with company supplied inverter. I had my occasional issues with them, but over 8 years it was a better than expected experience. From when I hurt myself, to the consideration I got when I brought up issues we have at certain customers as drivers, to just day to day operations it was a great experience for me overall. I would recommend Barr Nunn as a company to grow with. If I were in my late fifties I would have stayed.

I'm ready for the next phase in my career. I figured I would start with Landstar to break in on using a sort of broker system. I have a 3 year plan of upgrading to a new glider and getting my own authority. Definitely will be going to CMC that Kevin Rutherford offers next year.

Good for you. I think you'll enjoy being your own man. No one loves you in the trucking industry the way you do.

Congratulations - I'm jealous on the glider - Pictures please!!!!

What are we going to pull - who's trailer, where is orientation at . . .

You've got some gaps to fill in.
