you will be fine just practice on both truck and trailer. also slid tandems if you need to when backing. just dont opening the door. i had 30 minutes to pretrip truck and trailer plus hook up. also dont back under trailer until you get out and check how high or low.

    There are no gotchas.

Make sure to check you permit book. You don't have to check every permit just show you know what it is. Same with the parts. You don't have to do a mantra of "inspecting for bent, broken, worn XXXX" Tell him/her looking at barakes and seals, check your steering wheel play, and touch lights.

Breathe this is easy stuff. Same with road test.

    Good luck.

thats funny. They advertise .38 cpm everyday on Craigslist. And they just signed that deal with Lytx in March of 2018

They are not advertising 38 cents a mile on craigslist.

New drivers start $.4575 IIRC. The entire $.38 deal ended last year.

Yes we have a forward facing Lytx camera. Not a driver facing.

That's great to hear. I was preparing for gotchas, figuring a cotter pin was removed, a single permit expired, or 2 instead of 3 triangles...guessing there MUST be something! Like you said, I just need to breathe!

The ad I responded to indicated an average starting pay of $86k, up to 21 PTO days per year, and in discussion with both HR and 2 current drivers, I'll be starting at .4625 + activity pay. One of my Walmart driver contacts has been at his location less than a year, and is on track to make just over $90K. In my area of the country, I need to be a doctor or lawyer to make money like that.
