Could you do us a favor and post some of trip sheets that you mail in for pay?? Could post something that validates your weeks or current one right now. Anyone can make those numbers up and post them. Do you know any driver at Heartland that is experiencing the same thing. I highly doubt you are the only one getting these kind of miles.

How do you do that?

mje Thanks this.

The hometime for 34 just isnt true. and if he is making that kind of money it doesnt really matter if the loads are 1000 miles or not.

Funny you should say that. The guy you are doubting has been posting responses on here after his initial post. It cracks me up that supertruckers can't stand it when someone is actually making money instead of whining and crying then leaving for the next job, LOL. I won't even mention the good money I've made or what companies. You'd only doubt me or blast me....too funny.mje Thanks this. -

I am regional and dedicated, and I did not make that much gross last year. But I do know some system drivers that have. Heck, I know another system driver that lives in Jamestown that makes that.
I am around 48k per year. And home almost every weekend. I get home Saturday morning early and I leave home Monday morning. So normally home for over 40 hours. Some weekends I will get home Friday evening and out Monday.
It mostly depends on your region and if you want to be home every weekend.
Living in Jamestown the main loads home are to Buffalo on Friday night.
If out of Carlisle and not Columbus it is even harder to get home. Since the loads out of Columbus to Buffalo are normally covered by drivers out of that region. And not out of Carlisle.
I got higher miles when I was full regional and stayed out of the Northeast much of the time. The shortest lanes, with the longest times are in that area. But from the company's standpoint it is also the highest paying. Since they get the best rates in that region.
Also a couple months is not enough time to learn how Heartland runs. It will take that long for dispatch to learn how you run, and to get trust in you that you can do what needs to be done on tight loads. Many days I use my full 14 hours and drive more than 600 miles each day. But I am also out of one of our most productive terminals, with some of our best dispatchers.
Carlisle has had issues for the past few years with dispatch and planners. They just cannot keep them long. And the ones they get they train, but they are not very good at planning in advance.shutterbug1313, Leftlane101, JaeBro and 7 others Thank this. -

Well said JohnBoy,
not sure that he meant home every 26 weeks though, that sounds a little extreme - looks like that was when he took a week off. from what I've seen the system drivers seem to get home about every other week, sometimes more, sometimes less.
