As for heartland, I would like to make a couple corrections. they have one of the lowest turnovers of trucking companies of the ones that are larger. there is always turnover in any company, not always the company's fault. they have many many drivers been there for over 10 years. To say that the advertising is a lie or they are scammers, that is just plain bullcrap. they may not be your cup of tea, but they are one of the most successful trucking companies around and their drivers stay with them for so many years for a reason.

My apologies that was not my intent so for that I will refrain from continuing You are correct, Heartland's reported T/O is actually lower than 120 but I won't argue that point. You are further correct that turnover is not always the result of bad operations or driver dissatisfaction. If you look at Ford and GM they have a turnover rate that is around 45%.

A Drug wholesaler, H.D. Smith, Inc. who are in the process of attempting an IPO has a corporate turnover rate of 88% so its not just trucking related and I can recall 30 years ago solid companies averaging well over 100% T/O on an annual basis.

 

I spent 3 months at "Heartless Express" in 2011. Their nick-name is well deserved.

The main reason they do suck is because they engage in illegal activities each day. "Heartless" refuses to pay drivers for doing local work. They expect you to deliver local freight for no pay. Any driver who has been there a few months or more, has probably worked for free.

I understand another lawsuit is being prepared about this very thing.

 

well i worked at heartland but didnt stay long due to keeping me out lond period of time im not spending time out in a truck stop for any company ,heartland is not a good company to work for they dont treat drivers very well so i told them to stick their company up their ### . i dont understand why drivers let compaines treat them like they treated me .glade i quite wont ever go back hope they GO BROKE SOON..
