To all of you venturing through my neck of the woods and even up on 40 going 15 into Cali, BE ADVISED.

It's WTF hot ( 107 in the shade ) and getting WTF hotter - 113ish through Tuesday.

Saw half a dozen guys with their tires peeled off along 10 this morning, and that's before the peak heat !!!

So for those of you that shine on your air pressures - BE ADVISED - take the time to check / air your tires in the morning, the grief you save will be your own.

This is when all the new owner-ops and lease ops begin to figure what they were supposed to save "all that money" for.

Near the bottom of 9-mile hill into Indio would be a good place to set up a truck tire store right about now.

Oxbow, Mike2633, Dominick253 and 8 others Thank this.

Most APU's won't offer a lot of help above 100 F. in the direct afternoon sun. You need the main AC (both front and rear units) running to remain half way comfortable but good luck with that for many.

My APU dont cool very well once it gets past 80F outside.
Company is toi cheap to let me idle, they'd rather me suffer in the heat.

Hell with that. You can't sleep in the heat. Meanwhile office boys are in a/c.

it was 95 today in Georgia. Remember to keep hydrated to prevent heat exhaustion. Drink Plenty of water or Gatorade to keep your electrolytes up.
