Also if anyone has a flatbed and truck thats open for me and wants these loads...You can get about 5-7 grand a week to the truck
-
I don't drive yet, but what are the other driver's getting for loads/miles? If theirs are also down, the owner is just trying to keep the doors open, and is hoping it picks up before his good driver's flee and he is left with no drivers, or undependable drivers and he knows they won't deliver. Go with your gut feeling, it is almost always right, and you have to look out for you first.

The other drivers only do this run they are frustrated too. The shipper has loads that pay but our company wont send us there to get them...instead of 3 loads a week we only get one because our bosses are dumb. Ive given them these loads. Like a #######.
-
Where were they getting loads from before you?
-
Maybe the BOSS is smarter than you think... Could be the shipper has been trying to lowball your Boss on freight-rates....... ?
Big_Red Thanks this. -
They where running dead head over 1000 miles for one load.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.
-
No because we all know what he is getting for freight and I know what they agreed upon.
-
Let me answer better. They had one little run 900 miles, then they came over 1000 miles back......so I said well I know someone who pays good and has runs and for a while they did great and now they are back to let's deadhead everywhere they are going to lose these runs
-
So they quit running the load you had coming back and just eating the miles back.
