I'm not going to kill myself. I'm too stubborn for that nonsense. Besides, I'd rather be miserable than give someone money for them to just try to dope me up. Only one cure for this anyways. Not living in a truck.

I agree with that, I just have to move for the local gig. We're gearing up for that, but I'm still a year out unless I just sell all my junk and hit the restart button. Which is feeling closer to the right decision with each day.

What company? 2500 mile average length of haul is pretty good

PM me for details. Really is a good company and we desperately need drivers right now. Small outfit.

I was just responding to this statement. That is a very serious thing to say, even if you didn't mean it. I have lost friends and family members to suicide. It is devastating! Please choose your words more carefully. Take care of yourself.

I would rather eat a bullet. I just won't do it myself.

In the middle of the woods in southwest Virginia. I don't even have cell service or high speed internet at my house. Coal hauling used to be big. As well as moving equipment for drilling companies and construction crews. Most of that's dead, now. What isn't just isn't reliable and 1099 or under the table.

I'm looking forward to reading all the insightful survival comments from other OTR truck drivers who have no life and are just as miserable as you are.

I work for J Rayl Transport, they have a terminal in Danville and are hiring. I know it’s not exactly at the tip of Southwest Virginia, but they at least get you home every weekend. I don’t know if they do anything local out of there, but it’s worth a call.
