Help securement: am I doing this right?

If those are dirtbags make sure you crossstrap the ones in the back, those are the ones that usually fall over and dump all over the highway, I've seen it happen more than a few times.

 

I'm surprised they shipped that on a flatbed. What, no van trailers around? Looks like kind of a "S" load for a flatbed. Hope that wrap and your tarps hold out the moisture in a downpour, or you'll have 600 bags of cured "Quikrete".

 

Don’t you need two straps minimum on each because those pallets are over 1,100lb?

 

I use them like a ratchet strap... pull the strap all the way through then tighten it and with the excess fold it up and bungee it or use a zip tie

 

Only 1 strap if they’re against secured pallets in front of them without a gap, or a rated headboard.

 

Same here- however, from the color of the wagon I’d figure he’s prolly doing fairly local work. If I was putting them on n taking them off more than once a day, I’d fold them in 1’ increments after running it thru the slot, then put the folded end in the back n crank it in to hold it while securing the pallet.

Quickrete in a wet shrinkwrap wrapped all over it. And not tarps.

I never see those stake devices in my life. So I wont waste anyone's time babbly. You should cross several over the last rear pallets. To repeat a common oversight.

 

Cut the straps.

I have like 6 straps that I cut to about 16 feet long. Then I take a lighter and burn the ends. This helps strap short freight sooooo much faster. Not to mention rolling the straps quicker.
