Teleport Pro...designed with pervs and lazy web surfers in mindOh and a couple of hacks searching for code

Okay....supposed to have parts in today...they were...BUT
Checking out of motel, fire up truck...ooops no fire !
Jump truck...bad alternator
Detour to another shop. 6 hours later, new alternator...and an A/C set to ice cream mode...no compressor needed
One good thing about working for these guys. The week isn't a total loss. I get breakdown pay, equivalent to layover
Home tomorrow ????? -
Did someone say Ice Cream?

i was just reading all of this, how did it finally end?
-
Sorry GT, I kinda thought this thread had faded away LOL.
How it ended. My truck was repaired by another shop on ThursdayI loaded out on Friday, was home Friday night.
Got paid for 4 days breakdown time (same as layover). Paid motel room for 3 of the 4 nights that week. A/C went out on Tuesday. I was laid over from the day before (monday) to pick up a load home
The week wasn't a total bust. With layover, the trip down, and the trip back. I still made about $800. -
Wow, seen this thread and was really hoping that you weren't still there waiting to get the A/C fixed, LOL

thats really nothing, there is a small town about 30miles north of san angelo texas called Robert Lee, Tx (my mother's family reunions are held there every year) that town is so small you could fart and the whole town will smell it.
they dont even have stop signs, just the word "stop" painted on the road... and no fast food there, you either eat the cracker barrel or you starve.
the town cemetary is nearly half the size of the entire town... -
Be careful while you're stuck in backwater, Alabama. If you hear "dueling banjos" playing, or see Ned Beatty walking around then run away.
