disregard the cracks made by some who are continually amused by stories or 11 answers I might write. Ask a question, get some answers. Maybe a little horseplay maybe a story. But you will get answers.
Try to open a mind box. Put that wonderful feelings and motivations into it. Store the box away. Remember to access it now and then when you run into really bad days as a trucker.
Lol, I love these threads. @zachkawks - Just remember that being a trucker is similar to being a doctor. Just like a doctor can be a neurosurgeon or a podiatrist or a gynecologist (had to throw that one in), so to can a trucker be a local, regional, OTR, home-every-night-never-leave-the-city-limits, or gone-for-months-sunrise-in-the-Mojave driver. If you sign on with a company and love it, good for you. If you sign on with a company and hate it, find a new company. Your first job in trucking is not all that trucking is. Annnnd... Stay Safe Out There! (haha, you're going to get sooo tired of hearing that.)
Like @x1Heavy said... Dont wver forget that feeling. There will be days that you wake up and ask yourself "What the hell am I doing this for?" These are the days you need to remember that feeling. Trucking is a very honorable career... Best of luck to you.
