I was 78 in a 55 open highway. I didn’t get a ticket or anything. Just an inspection. Western didn’t say exactly if it was the inspection or speed that they terminated me for me. But I’m sure it was the speed. I was empty as well. The cop was nice. He sees it all the time he says. He said he would have grilled me had I been loaded though. So it was my luck I wasn’t.
HELP.

I was 18 OV. And empty. No ticket. Just a warning and level 3 inspectionThe_vett and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Don't say anything about speeding then, since there wasn't a ticket. 18 over is a job killer for about 3 years.
I think you were 28mph over the limit.Last edited: Nov 18, 2024
snowlauncher and The_vett Thank this. -
Did the warning MENTION THE SPEED?

Why do newbies not give a flip about anything until AFTER they eff up? And then, they only care about how the hardship they created is hard on them. Try getting a job with a 23 over ticket and recent termination, it won't happen. It shouldn't happen.

Maybe he should check his Hireright report and see what Western Express put on it.
