Yep that was pretty f' ed up.
But I can't imagine what it would be like to be in that position and have to make a split second decision on my life.

 

This. I'm the same way except I also have a chain wallet so I can remove it from my pocket while driving and not have to worry about forgetting it. When I change clothes it looks like I'm doing the macarena while I check to make sure each pocket has the requisite items Lol.

 

I am much the same way.

Wallet, front right pocket.

Spare keys, front left pocket.

Pen, clipped to shirt collar or shirt pocket.

Whenever the clothes come off, wallet, keys, and pen go in right shoe.

I always know exactly where my important items are, because I never put them anywhere but where I have decided that they belong.

 

Not much more to say;
It's a simple scenario.
If I have my pants on, I have my wallet and keys;
If I don't have my pants on, I don't NEED my wallet and keys.

 

I always keep a picture of my CDL on my phone, and a photocopy in my cab card file just in case that ever happens to me.

 

That is an excellent idea. I am going to put a photocopy of my license in my permit book at the end of today.

 

Man... He woulda lost his pride also!

 

If I walk around with all my #### loose in my pockets, I never lose anything. The minute I put it all into a wallet... gone. I need to adapt that habit of yours.

 

He would've had to keep kicking it down to San Jose.
