So hometime is less than 34 hours?

 

What makes you think you have to have a reset??...you must be a rookie because many of us experienced drivers drove before resets even came about....

 

You don't have to have home time or vacations either. They are nice to have though.

 

So many of these new drivers believe that if you don't have one you can't run...yes you can....for decades we drivers ran without ever having a reset...its called managing hours..it may be nice to have it but its not required...

 

I've only been in the game for two years, and I can count the number of resets I've had one hand. I prefer recaps, at least I'm rolling that way.

 

He's probably relatively new. Trained with 1 trainer where resets occurred one after another, and trainer said that's the way it should be .... so that's the what stuck in the guy's mind. Now, he's in the real world away from "mega world sissified trucking" and doesn't know how to act. Such a shame what bad training has done to the industry. I think it's both funny and disturbing.

 

Nope.... Helwig was sold to trans am some years back, had a no compete clause, and once it expired, came right back to it.... Was an excellent business move....

 

Yes... So long as you are a decent driver, you will easily hit 2800 miles a week.... I am averaging 3200 a week...

Like someone said, you run on recaps... Who cares?!? So long as you are doing what needs to be done, conserving your hours when you can, not taking extended breaks when you shouldn't, you will easily get the miles...

Someone else also complained of sitting at the meat plant for a day.... Again, I don't mind, I'm still getting the miles....

 

So why are they messing with your wages ?
