Hey! Great idea to decrease your spending on tolls!

There was a guy years ago doing this around NYC. He owed hundreds of thousands of dollars. When they finally caught him they not only took the truck and trailer, the locked his butt up.

You can do better tho. like was already said, there are clear covers, sprays, and even flat screens that turn black. Lots of cheap options that won’t get you caught so easily.

You’re not only going to get lit up for toll evasion, you’ll also get hammered for fictitious tags.

 

There is no shortage of folks using handmade cardboard license plate in the Toronto area, including commercial vehicles…it’s very bizarre..no license, no insurance…a whole community with total disregard for rules and really nothing the authorities can do..ticket them,,no pay,,

 

Starting this week New York State is cracking down on those!

 

I wouldn't disclose my secrets. People would get in less trouble if they talked less.

 

I'm talking about the US, some of the most idiotic ideas come from Canada, your country is messed up beyond belief.

However, if you get caught with it here, it doesn't matter if it is a Canadian-licensed truck or not, they can and many times take the plate and put the truck out of service. In some jurisdictions, they can seize the trailer and/or the truck and tow it.

This is outside the fact that customs here will just take the truck, loaded or not and you have to go to court.
