Sounds like you got your wish of less time on loads. Are you close to Spokane yet?

Took my break yesterday at the Pilot in Billings. Spent most of that day in rain, fog, and SNOW. I am on my 30 now in Missoula. Should hit Spokane about 06:30 PT. 651.5 yesterday and had about 550 left for today. Yes, at least for now, I am running like a scalded dog. And I like it. Should have knocked down around 3900 in 6 days when I deliver.

A little revision. I started a new shift Wednesday night so yesterday ended up at 732.0 and today was 483.2.
After the rough 1st 50 work days. Since, I have worked 28 days and had 2 days off at home. Including tomorrow as a 0 mile work day since I am resetting on the road. This 28 days worked included: 3 reset days on the road, 25 drive days, and 14302 paid miles. That works out to 510.8 paid miles per day for the 28 days. 572 paid miles per day driven for the 25 drive days. My new overall 78 days worked now averages 440.7 paid miles per day. The poor start has been completely erased. I'm not sure which makes me the most tired: the driving or the mathematics.

Got my preplan. Deadheading from here in Spokane down to pickup in Kennewick 1300 Saturday. Delivers Wednesday morning in Chariton, Iowa. Approximately 1800 total miles. There is a small ts a mile from Consignee that fills up quick so I will plan my run to arrive before noon Tuesday to stage.

I was talking about the little truck stop near my Consignee in Chariton, Iowa. I always use the Finley Truck stop in Kennewick. It is only about a mile from shipper.

Right before my dispatcher went home for the weekend he sent a message. Apparently I can drop and hook on arrival at the Consignee. So I can blaze a trail if I want.
