Long time lurker.
When I first joined the forum I was about to got to Truck Driving School.
Been there done that.
Signed on with a large company out of Dallas running reefers and found out how little I was taught in the School.

Just because you have a CDL does not mean you can drive a full blown rig!
' Drove for them for about six months - got some great experience and very little pay.

I then purchased my Kaufman 3/4 wedge and hooked it up to my Dually.
I am enjoying the business with all it's quirks.

yep, Stevens Transport. They have one of the longest trainee programs out there, but once I was on my own I was confident that I could at least do my job to some extent, and begin learning the trade.
