I read some where a while back that if your vehicle did not come from the factory with those bright ### head lights, it is against Fed Regs to install them. Can't remember where it was but it was in truckers trade publication. Also for those morons with the off road light bars it plainly states not for highway use, just off road.

Even the guys on the Alaskan Haul Road are professional and turn their 6-8 lights off when meeting on coming vehicles. They do need them up there so they can see the moose at night. I have yet to see a moose on the Ohio, In or Pa turnpikes.

I have had freaking TRAINS turn off their forwards before it destroyed my sight out west. Even if they are a mile.

Anyway. Find a pair of filtered eyewear that shields against LED radiation and you will find that problem cut down quite a bit.

I wprked on railroads for years and never even knew they could dim their lights until a few years ago.
It was the one and only time I have ever had a train dim it's lights for me.

Exactly my point. I was within 30 ft of a full grown bull on night on the haul road before I saw him. He jumped the guard rail, lucky for me. If he had come my way it was all over for me. This was all with standard high beams. That is why guys up there run all those lights, so they can see a black moose at night.

I've lost count. My record was 14-1/2 moose on one trip through Northern Ontario. The 1/2 was being cut up on the shoulder by hunters.
Saw three right on the highway north of Regina one night. Fortunately they wondered out of the way. There is a surprising amount of moose here in Saskatchewan.
