Looking at a 78" or 84" side hopper for running midwest area. Has anyone used a high side for general hopper work? Is there a lot of places you can't fit into (height)? I have a full height T680 that I would be pulling it with. Or am I better off with another low side or 72"?
I have a lot of wheat midds and beet pulp shreds in my area. And was just trying to be more versatile.

I have pulled a 78” side as well as an 84” all over the Midwest as well as South Texas. All those old rice mills with low overhead. Some places I had to back in because of my stacks. 1 place in Waldenburg Arkansas the 84 wouldn’t go. 5 years hauling general commodities and grain I guess that’s not bad. Anything smaller than a 42x96x78 (40 ft has same capacity just steeper slopes) you will have trouble getting 25 ton on with some stuff. Wheat Midds it took the 84 to get 25 ton on. I didn’t load them often so wasn’t a big deal. The 78” was my trailer of choice
