KAG -- OTR cryo job out of Magnolia, AR -- no cryo exp req'd -- solo driver position
This lead is a bit dated; suggestion -- apply to it, anyway. They may well make you an offer...either for there, or some other midwest location where they are now hurting for help.
If they try to stuff you into a position up in the northeast somewhere -- just ask them if they have anything for cryo that's closer to Arkansas. Heck -- their company HQ is in Ohio, for cryin' out loud....They have terminals back in the midwest -- or I would not have sent you that link.

I havent tried ABF. I kind of forgot about them. I forget that there's a whole world of companies beyond indeed and ziprecruiter. I'll check into those leads. Thank you.Frank Speak Thanks this.

I bombarded KAG with applications to 4 different positions lol. Even had one of those fancy AI's on the internet write me a cover letter with some big words in it. That's another one that I had high on my hopes list. I'll change my mindset on the job search. I thought it was going to be easy because of my good record and clean history. Color me humbled. Thanks for all your help.

Best of luck to you! The only help I can give is stay positive!!

How recent was your dry bulk tanker experience (for 3 years)?
If your tanker experience -- and also, your previous flatbed experience -- are not showing up properly in the appropriate job history databases....then that may well be a ver-ry good chunk of why you're hearing far too much in the way of crickets chirping.
The result: on paper....at least, you look exactly like a rookie driver who's done nothing else......except deliver Freightliners.

Are Calark still operating out of Little Rock? I got offered a job to drive for them back in the late 90's. There was a huge federal court case over them hiring workers without valid work visas glad I never accepted the offer.

I left the tanker place in November of 2021 when I moved to Arkansas. That did cross my mind. I just hoped they'd contact them if they didn't see it. Otherwise, why fill out an application and provide names, dates, addresses, and phone numbers if they're not going to reach out? My supervisor from there would give me an excellent review if they'd just speak to him.

Yes, although they seem to have skinnied down a bit. They used to take up both sides of the interstate (I-30). But, they sold or give up the lease, whatever, on one side.

Is Maverick not on your radar? They have more opportunities than just flatbed. And, even then, their flatbed loads are straightforward.

Yes. I applied for them a couple of weeks ago.ducnut Thanks this.
