Heck, at my current job we've had one driver roll over the truck and trailer and is still working there. It literately is 100% dependent on not only the company, but the guy in charge of making that decision.

Hey man #### happens. Look at it this way, you drive tens of thousands of miles a year. If all you hit in 10 years is one little pole then you're doing a #### good job. Companies that actually have compassion for their drivers understand this kind of stuff. Hell, I made a 1,700 mile round trip and literally 3/4 of a mile from my work a car failed to yield a left turn right in front of me and smashed into the tandems of my tanker (if I wouldn't have steered right I would've killed them). My boss said not to worry and said these things happen. Just be honest, take pictures, and apologize for what happened. That's all you can do

I agree with the previous posters. One thing at a time. I've had incidents in the past and kept jobs.
