they are a really bad and unsafe company to work for they told me if I cost them a bunch of money I would be terminated well I got hurt one night I was out of hours and my dispatcher asked me if I knew how to unhook my QC and told me I had to go with no hours left so he made me drive 2 hrs over my clock and finally arrived at my destination at midnight just to start unloading at 4 a.m. they just dont care about the driver cause they look at as it was the drivers fault he was out of hrs but we got our delivery made they just suck I am having to battle threw 4 states over comp right now and still not receiving anything its only been 5 months so far but like I said they dont care

Did you get a message over Qualcomm saying disconnect it? If so post pictures.
But regardless. You are responsible for following the laws.Broke Down 69, Highway_Executive, ladr and 1 other person Thank this. -
I attempted to look at Hogan once and the recruiter was so rude I hung up on her .
Badmon and Broke Down 69 Thank this. -
Odd behavior for a recruiter. Hopefully that one isn't paid on commission.Badmon and Broke Down 69 Thank this.

Hey driver
....keep in mind next time you drive when you're out of hrs
You can be the best driver in the world but if you get involed in an accident weather it be your fault or not
They will strip you of your cdl indefinitely. !
And most likely your dispatcher will hardly know your name or what you were doing running illegal like that
You have the legal right to refuse to be unsafe or illegal
Remember this always or it's possible that you will never drive a semi again in your life, if you're not suddenly dead firstOPUS 7, LWT104, gsmith2332 and 3 others Thank this. -
I've run into to some dandy's Mack .lolBroke Down 69 Thanks this.

Not when you ask logical, direct questions.
-
Did you get a picture of them telling you to disconnect the qualcomm? If so, and they fired you if you refused to run you would be hitting the lottery with a lawsuit.
-
Why would you let any dispatcher force you into anything you don't want to do, let alone something illegal? That's when you call safety and anyone else that would like to know of this matter. That dispatcher should have been fired along with you. Sorry to say that but it would have been a good learning lesson.BearGator56 Thanks this.

If a dispatcher asks you to do that then DEMAND they send a message over that Qualcomm and take a picture of that message on the screen or record the call. Unless you have documented proof they asked you to do something like that no one will believe you.
Highway_Executive Thanks this.
