So after rebuild they say turbo is bad, they replace turbo and actuator, then they say it still running bad. They remove exhaust from turbo and says running fine, so know there inspecting the def filter, which if you ask me was probably the main issue the whole time lol.
But if I ever get my truck back I'm gonna have lots of new parts.....

Didn't they put it on the computer to see what the back pressure is or at least check it before replacing the turbo?

    Magoo1968 and Siinman Thank this.

I have seen just as many of those be a huge POS as I have Paccar, they may have there #### straight now but from about 2011 to about 2018 they were the worst of the worst for emission issues. I am no fan of new Paccar crap.

Depends on the spec. All trucks are crap with emissions when spec'd wrong.

Seems like the harder the engine works, the less issues they have. With most of today's 13L engines putting out power similar to the 15L engines of 20 years ago there's little reason to spec anything more than a 13L for general freight.

Lower RPM is where Volvo engines like it. They need to keep the heat in the engine. Running high RPM's causes most of the problems. So if they have low gears they tend to have more issues with emissions.

I don't think they know how to read there computer, of course they've had it on the computer, numerous of times at this point though I don't trust these peons with a crescent wrench. But hopefully truck will be right sometime this week
