The video I watched there was a big truck that cross the road, then a car, then a second car, then I see skid marks just before the intersection, then the white Lexus. But yeah the driver had no clue what was about to happen.
I don't fault the truck driver for the accident, but he had plenty of clues what was coming.
Holy S***snacks!!!

Be careful...you're speaking blasphemy to suggest the driver of the truck could have done anything. Never mind that we should expect 4-wheelers to do st00pid shtuff.FlaSwampRat and Bud A. Thank this. -

I wouldn't say 0%. When you see a herd of stupidity you have to anticipate. The white car had tunnel vision and was following the cars in front. Could have been an 80 year old. And for sure 70 mph is way to fast. I thought it was an interstate. Easy to critique, but we are supposed to be the professional drivers out there. We get paid to avoid accidents no matter who is in the wrong.Bud A., Pedigreed Bulldog and blairandgretchen Thank this.

If I was the truck driver I probably would have at least slowed or taken my foot off the pedal. It’s still the cars fault 100% though.
What makes me mad is similar videos but the semi truck turned hard and rolled over and the car just drives away leaving the truck driver with all the blame.HoneyBadger67, Bud A., jammer910Z and 1 other person Thank this. -

You mean, the same world where a woman can sue a major corporation because she spilled coffee on herself?

It is always very instructive of the level of knowledge when someone brings that up.
Lawyers are not some mythical creature that can cause any amount of mayhem and pain regardless of underlying laws and which must be avoided at all costs. -
Had to watch it, and agree that the truck driver could have avoided that. Easily.
Or at the very least reduced the speed at which he hit the Lexus.magoo68, Bud A., Trucking in Tennessee and 1 other person Thank this.
