That's a very good question.
An to answer it no I didn't verify his mc.
Now the next question would be since we all know we can't believe everything a truck driver say, is it fair to say we can't believe everything you say or should I just take your word for it?
lol. You set yourself up for that one

Man how did I miss all this fun? LOL
Steeleandsonfarms, jacquesi23, G13Tomcat and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have a question for spyder.
Why did you let your authority go?
Honest question no motives behind. -
Absolutely not. Everyone should do their own research so they can form an educated opinion. I would never advise a guy to take some random Joe on the internet at face value.
-
In other words, his face value is just about as worthless as yours if I don't do my own research?
-
Very simple version: stuff that had almost nothing to do with trucking.jacquesi23 Thanks this.

And for the guy that mentioned "I didn't pay attention" to know how mercer operated, I will say to him yes I paid very close attention, I mean this is my livelihood so any details provided I'm soaking them up!....upon starting with mercer my recruiter stressed to me that their presence was very strong in the south which I've yet to see.
I'm assuming the guys with 4 digits didn't pay attention either because they SIT just as long as I do.
The ugly truth is if you don't have a van then be prepared to sit 1-2 days after you unload OR deadhead half the day to grab a load which still doesn't make sense if the load isn't even paying much. -

I'm sure where you are doing all this sitting. Bama? I can't really offer any advise if that's the case. I don't/won't work that area because I don't like the rates aroun there. Are you trying to stay in that area or will you run all over? I don't know how you operate and I won't pretend to. But maybe you can find a triangle or something else that works for you. TN has good freight, I've been booked for days with rates at 2-6$ and 200-800 miles with almost no DH. If your just trying to work around the house then it might be harder. I've never seen what I call good freight out of Alabama. Not saying there isn't any just that I've never found it. But just north of there
jacquesi23 Thanks this.
