Co I don't Fitzgerald has a salvage title. This deal he is talking about. Sounds like. Used truck turned in as wrecked, etc, then the pre emissions engine put in, , with a resulting salvage title, is that the deal. What. Part is new 123 ?

Everything on the truck is new except for frame. But the title is salvage. I'm assuming the truck was wrecked an they swapped everything out an placed the preemission specs in it. Even the hoses throughout the truck are new.

So it has a 2016 motor with emissions removed? Last I checked, that was illegal. I'm willing to bet it's a 2007/08 with a re manufactured motor.

Prob a 03 or older block with all new reman parts and components. I'd consider a glider but once you're spending over $75k for a truck it just doesn't make sense not to get a Cali truck. Unless of course your bread and butter isn't going out there. And by bread and butter I mean direct shippers.

Well yea of course all of it is reman. But I consider it new when you replace all the old parts on the truck. Plus it has a warranty just like factory.

So 4yr/400k or 5y/500k depending on the engine?

california has fell to an all time low so im really thinking about getting that glider.
used to be a time where you could run to cali an make enough money to take off for a month or two..now not even!..some of these cali rates are so ridiculous you would come out better running it for free...
now i did talk to this one fella from LS with a preemission truck an he uses that mileage pass to go in there..he was also telling me nobody ever really checks it so he's been doing it for years now.
i got to thinking to myself an it donned on me that there is really no way to police the actual mileage these guys are running because im pretty sure alot of these guys are running in cali illegally

Well if the warranty is that good then I could see why you are considering it. But I would have to go Fitzgerald. Clean title and all for about the same price.

I heard the Feds are trying to throw a monkey wrench in what Fitzgerald is doing.
Won't be long before they have to cut their operations as well. Because they are selling complete trucks.
