I just hauled 49,000 lbs of toilet paper from Indianapolis to Chicago with a police escort ...on a flatbed ...secured with chains ...

Man, I'm so excited to turn off that stupid ELD this upcoming week.

I'm gonna throw all caution to the wind, 100 plus hours a week and $$$ hand over fist running high paying "essential" loads for the chumps emptying the stores shelves on my lane.

Good times and truckin' rock and roll again!

You might just be on to something. They just showed the store shelves, and these crazy people cleaned out everything. Their gonna need everything restocked. Figure not just a certain area, like after a storm, but the whole Country. Rates will definitely have to go up.

They say, it is unprecedented event. Well, it is unprecedented because this is the first national emergency when people don't use paper logs. If there were no ELDs today, no such measures would be really needed.

Bottled Water on demand incase power goes out to the water plants. No power no pump, no water for you.
Then the ‘boil’ rule comes into effect.

Go for it, I don’t trust anything the officals tell me.
There is 168 hours in a week. I have before worked 130.
It can be done, but what if someone hits you, not to say you bump something.
Then all their talk goes to the birds, you’ll be sued for everything you worked so hard for, so let the lawmakers see what happens when the trucks STOP.

I have my own water supply. And my own pump. And a generator in case the lights go off. Enough fuel for a month easy. I ain't worried. I'm well prepared for a month of seclusion if needed.
