    There is actually a difference between using PC to do things like go eat etc when stopped and officially off duty, and what I said above. Some places have zero respect for a truck driver's time and just about every day in the US a driver gets done that way. This is why I mentioned getting in touch with safety and follow their policy on PC. However, I agree 1000000% about this (You can rest assured the DOT cops also have different interpretations,) woe be unto that driver caught up in that kind of BS!

    There’s a Love’s in Benson that’s pretty easy to get into. I wouldn’t drive toward Phoenix. The closer you get, the faster they’ll fill up.

    There are 3 truckstops each within a 10-mile radius from me. So I don't foresee a problem.
