Wait. Are you saying you were parked on On-Duty and went over your 14 hours? Or was it still on Drive?
I ask as is seems they don't teach HOS anymore. Going over on the 14 is fine, as long as you don't drive. Remember all (but one for teams) is based on drive time. On duty time is not limited.

I believe this falls into the 50 mile rule. DOT / mega fleets know that drivers will run out of time. Mega fleets love drivers whom max their time.

Was a time we could worry about safety more than regulations, just remember that as freezing to death.
Lepton1, Tombstone69 and Rubber duck kw Thank this. -

Fatality crash caused me to go about 90 minutes past my 14. Since I was past my time anyway, I made delivery. So far no one at my company has said anything, I just notated it on the logs, what can you do?

lol 50 mile rule. Someone else just wrote that the DOT has a cap limit to how many negative warnings you can receive on a DOT inspection. I love Trucker Logic!

I watch your YouTube channel. Good videos and I like your laugh. Wouldn't going into violation and than delivering anyway cause DOT to be suspicious? I know theres things you cant plan for but I always thought you were just suppose to go to the nearest safe haven.scottied67 Thanks this. -
