HOS???

Right, that is what I am taking about, that started about a year and a half ago. If it changes itself it reverts back to when it started moving. If you manual change it it won't.

Example, I pull out of a truck stop, it's busy with a red light, takes 5 minutes to get out of the parking lot, even though I am off duty, it will put those 5 minutes to the drive line.

What I do now is at the light, before I start rolling, I change it to drive myself and that leaves the previous 5 minutes off duty.

Try that sometime, should work the week for you.

Yes I started doing that a while back, I had gone On Duty/Empty Call and 17 minutes into it having pulled forward to close doors, backed up to slide tandems all that, and rolled out the out gate, soon as the speed/distance auto tripped it to Drive line, it backed the driving up all those 17 minutes.

 

Oh ya. Good catch.

And don't put def in diesel and vice versa.

 

Why? Is there a difference? Diesel is so much cheaper than DEF right now. That's all I buy

There's no way you could run with diesel in DEF tank for long.

Love it ... To the op, if you get one prick of a dot enforcement officer looking at your logs and ask for fuel reciepts to figure out if you are right or wrong logging off duty, he can ding you for a log violation. No matter what others say, it only takes one to ruin your day and beleive me there are a lot of them out there trying to ruin your day.

And if you want to extend your 70, then learn how to manage your time.

 

Just run some washer fluid through your next tank, that should clean it right up for you.

 

Yep that's why I always walk in and grab the fuel receipt and carry them with the BOL's
washout receipts and cat scale receipts etc.
