Nothing much, just explains what they are, take it slow, watch for traffic, most single lane roundabouts have a truck apron on the inner circle for trailer off track. Take the lane you need basically

I think there's a you tube tutorial on negotiating them, designed for cars, of course.

A lot of folks have no clue when they put them in in their towns.

    Bob Dobalina Thanks this.

Generally I just try to manage traffic and take them all by myself.

Of course that's not always possible and then I go full @blairandgretchen and take out the statue of the local polka king.

Same as above... I swing wide and use any space available to me... Be it the inner lane or the sloped truck apron ... Always making sure someone is not in the way before the trailer cuts into them...

And if someone is in my way I will wait for them to clear but sometimes we just need to assume that self preservation will kick in at some point and they will move... LOL

And, just since when do ninjas use flashers?
Seems a bit counter to them sneaking around!

Longarm and Bob Dobalina Thank this.

If you see the flashers, you realize you are the flashers. By then - it's too late.

    It's a ninja thing.

ncmickey, Longarm and Bob Dobalina Thank this.

So a guy stopped at one a week ago and you could tell he didn't know how to negotiate the roundabout... He ended up making a U-turn and going against the flow to make a left. Luckily there wasn't but one car and me there.

There's a small town near me that has a roundabout in the center (complete with local hero statue) where 2 state routes converge. Instead of the usual rule that you look to the left and enter when it's clear, in this town there's a small sign saying to yield to traffic on your right (basically encouraging extreme courtesy). The problem is it's counter-intuitive to anyone familiar with roundabouts, and only locals know the "rules" of that special, opposite-world intersection. It is truly dangerous. The first time I went through it, a guy pulled out right in front of me and layed on the horn, pointing to the tiny sign by the statue.

Sorry, pal, I didn't know I needed special instructions to go through your town without crashing.
