Stepdeck's attack is not acceptable.

Root cause is trucker pulled out way too early to make pass that cannot be done in a timely manner.

Hopefully that cam is very good quality so you can harvest the necessary Data to pull Stepdeck into court. Or better yet call the Law and run him down, show the Law the video and your tractor front damage.

OK I didn't notice the onramp before so looks like the dashcammer legitimately merged over to the fast lane to help this stepdicker get on the freeway safely.

 

I didn't see anyone coming down the ramp. And, like I posted before, the guy who posted the video to youtube says he was out there to pass someone.

 

Some of the Comments on UK in YT is hilarious. And a reason I do nothing with YT.

 

While the OP video passes an on ramp at 13 seconds there is nothing in the video that indicates anyone was merging onto the freeway from the beginning of the video all the way through the OP getting into the passing lane.

While I agree that the "root cause", or initial cause of the collision is that OP jumped into the passing lane way too early, the fault of the collision lies entirely with the step deck. He/she made the critical move to create the collision.

The right thing to do in this situation is call 911, save the video, and hope the step deck gets pulled over somewhere up ahead. Asking other drivers for help on the CB these days isn't going to help in most situations like this.

 

Guy gets wrecked on purpose and half the comments on here basically defend the truck who hit him.

Yep. We've all encountered that guy in the left lane and we've all gotten upset but these responses are why this industry is in the toilet and this site is a joke.

 

Hey now, this site is not a fault. Blaming TTR is like blaming the guy in the left for getting hit. They can't help it if people make ridiculous comments.

I do agree with you on the rest of your comment though.

 

Nobody is forcing you to come to this site. So you disagree with some of the opinions on here. So what?
You can make, (or at least you should be able to make) an intelligent comment without insulting not only the site, but everybody here.
