how do I have more money now?

I know food is a lot more but looking at some of these drivers, missing a few meals would probably be beneficial both financially and physically.

 

Having money is MUCH MORE about your spending than your income. Janitors and secretaries can retire with a million plus dollars. There are huge companies with 100 million in annual revenue that go out of business. Control your spending if you want to stop being broke. Poor people spend a life making excuses for their bad decisions.

 

Free showers at most truck stops, free parking as well, can watch movies on cellphone. Food can be bought at Walmart Costco etc way cheaper than greedy truck stops, then they ####ed wonder why we don't buy their s#_&t

 

Why is it called "greedy" when others do it?

Don't call others "greedy" unless you're willing to take a pay cut

 

If you have time to cook your meals on the road?

 

Unless you sleep 10 hours a day you have at least 2 hours before you have to go to sleep for 8 hours. The thing that takes the longest is clean up usually. If you're hitting the showers you can usually combine the two.

 

Unless you insist on taking a shower at the same time as the other 180 drivers at the truck stop ask for a shower. I found getting a shower very early in the morning is much easier than dinner time in the late afternoon early evening. I even had a way to shower in the truck if the truck stop was too slow or dirty or crowded.

 

Not if you park on the fuel island.
