Yeah I’m still driving at we. Turns out other companies didn’t want to give me credit for three months yet. They wanted exact start dates, which only put me at 2 months. So I unquit.

Well, stick it out, everyday is one day closer to moving along to something better. Focus on improving your skills and find that next job once you have more time in.

Ideally 1 year but yeah, it depends on how things go.

Did they get your truck in and the ac fixed?

Thanks I’m going to try. It would be pretty pointless to quit before three months especially without having another job lined up. I feel pretty good about the actual work. Just need improvements on backing and still learning about different regulations and all the rules in general.

They did fix the AC and put on brand new tires plus they fixed the cruise control.

I heard someone with a sailboat give a useful answer when asked how do you know when to get in the lifeboat (change jobs)? He said, you want to step UP into the lifeboat. In this case, when you have the next job lined up, you've had your application approved, you change jobs if the next job is an real improvement and not just a bunch of hopeful wishes & "promises". Even at what we're my best jobs, I wanted to quit dozens of times. Don't quit because of a hard few days or bad temporary circumstances.

Those repairs yo the truck will vastly improve your comfort and thus mood when on the road. Amazing how something like ac and cruise are annoying as heck when not working. I can only imagine the ac being out and being in the south! I'm a northerner so not used to heat lol

Glad they fixed the AC ! Like others have said, try to stay as long as you can. I stayed at my first gig exactly One Year.
The last few months were hard to go back out as I was sick of team driving. Be glad you're not doing that !
