I used to either just listen or grab the cb mike and ask, but that may not be a very good option anymore.
I expect that it still does the trick though.

If it's been a little bit since the crash, sometimes there are detour signs or law enforcement directing the traffic.

If I am stopped in traffic, I zoom in on the map and mark a section of road a bit ahead of my position as unusable road. Then the GPS will try to reroute me around the bad section of road.

Then, I look at the result, and if it looks insane, I just prepare myself for a lot of wasted time.

    TravR1 and Intothesunset Thank this.

In the rural south that means parking in the lane youre in.

I run on quite a few TN and NC roads where 2 passing tractors have about 3 inch of mirror clicking clearance and 3 inches of excess tar before the ditch. And 45mph speed limits. Pull off 2 feet = going over.

But yankees think southerners cant drive!

    Ok lets play this game.

I loaded Laredo, Tx and I have to deliver in Sweetwater, Tx. Please show me the route that keeps me on the Interstate the whole time.
