Well, when I was in school I always opted for licks instead of detention or suspension, well actually sometimes I liked suspension when I wanted a vacation, any ways you can tell them just to give you a good beating instead. lol
How do they suspend a driver?

I don't know where to begin are you have a stroke or some kind illness I am unaware of serious sounds like your unaware of your surroundings and are sleeping mist of a run, PTSD I have known people who have it and think they are back overseas in a WZ. You more not just loss control your vehicle but you lost consciousness from what you describe. I know some overweight people have to have a test taken because they breath heavy and for a sec stop breathing and they gasp would this attribute to this? either way I would suggest a doctor.truckdriver31, Lepton1, joshuapowell61 and 1 other person Thank this.

Caring about 68 mph in a 65 zone is not safety conscious it is called making up an excuse to get lower insurance rates.

All this talk of adaptive cruise control... man, I miss having my adaptive cruise control. This current truck don't have it. Granted, it also doesn't have a camera, a following distance alarm or a lane departure warning, so I guess it's a net positive, but still. I miss being able to let the truck do a wee bit more work for me from time to time. Really came in handy at the end of the day when things start getting a bit less defined, y'know?

Tell them you will start riding the brakes , looking for that patch of ice rolling downhill , id find another job camera and nanny free.
Depart with dignity with notice but not before you secure another job.
A camera and people breathing down your neck is bad enough with all of the stress we drivers deal with on line 3 and 4.
Good Lucktruckdriver31, Texas_hwy_287 and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

I was south of Salina last week easing along with my cruise on 65. Cascadia is coming up on me but not real fast, I’d say he’s probably at 67 or so. He catches me but doesn’t change lanes. Ok, adaptive cruise. It’s 11pm or so and no traffic so I start dropping my cruise 1mph every half mile or so. I was down to 53 before he realized how slow we were going. I was about peeing my pants laughing when he jerked it over to the other lane to go around me.tarmadilo, MGE Dawn, truckdriver31 and 3 others Thank this.

Never. I don’t need that junk to get down the road. The videos I’ve seen online say it alerts you at a 2-3 second following distance though, so I stand by my statement he should be changing lanes before it slows down.tinytim, truckdriver31, Rubber duck kw and 1 other person Thank this.

My company used to suspend drivers for a day for most any minor policy transgression till they figured out we were doing it on purpose for the 3 day weekend. Now they suspend guys mid week, which is still nice...lol

The real problem with a suspended license. There is nothing that will stop a driver from resuming driving if they want to.
truckdriver31 Thanks this.
