Unreasonable work expectations. That's the legal term.
Plus if they add a threat on top, don't you think it's harassment?
Also, this happened at 2 well known companies that have a reputation for treating drivers well. This was not a 1099 outfit or something similar.
How do you trip plan?

As long as no violence?Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Makes no difference when you start, it depends on shipping time, yet.. wake up, bathroom, coffee if must, kick the tires, go... 4-5 hrs drive, 2-3 hrs break: eat, shower, nap, movie, fuel if need to within break, drive another 6-7 hrs, sleep 7-8, repeat.Another Canadian driver and Trucker61016 Thank this.

I was being a smart axx
There’s a lot of guys who can’t get 4-500 miles in and wonder why they’re going broke at that $1 plus fsc jobAnother Canadian driver, gentleroger and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
Give us an example. Saying a 60mph average is meaningless without an example of what was asked of you. A 60mph driving average is doable out west with little traffic, even in a governed truck, provided you can keep the door closed and run.
I’m not justifying their threat or saying that it was ok, but if they have a whole bunch of guys doing similar runs then it’s not an unreasonable expectation from their point of view. If you can show that nobody else is capable of doing it either then you’d have a better case.Another Canadian driver, gentleroger, God prefers Diesels and 3 others Thank this. -

I can not do 300 sometimes)Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
