How does TA get any business?

The store charges $4 for a sleeve of Oreos... about 8 cookies. THAT'S a ripoff.

 

Anyone else notice how lousy their restaurant rewards program has become too? In 2013 and 14, it seemed like I was eating free meals every other month. I checked my balance the other day and I earned a whopping 82 cents for the month of October and spent at least $100 between Petro and TA. Ridiculous!

 

And people wonder why Love's and Pilot are kicking their ###. Everything at both of them is cheaper than TA, have a better selection than most TA's, and sure as hell have better rewards programs. I still like to eat at Petro but not as much anymore because I get nothing for giving them business. And their grill items are lousy or they just don't even bother having any. Half the time I go into TA looking for something quick like a hot dog, they're out or they look so bad I'd rather eat almost anything else. Sad...

 

So the million dollar question is which Major Semi Tractor manufacturer owns T/A?

 

37 million shares in public trading, at $25.10/share. For a mere $930 million dollars, you could buy they whole shebang and run it the way you want to.

Freightliner

 

They are a minority owner along with T/A Management. Oak Hill Capital recently bought majority/ controlling interest . But Frieghtliner and T/A Management kept there minority interest in the company.

 

I had a coolant leak (dry rotted) coolant hose from reservoir to water pump, company I work for sent me to T/A
$300 later it was fixed lol, what a ripoff
