Yeah it would be all fun and games until you rear end yourself trying to get turned around at the local TA :biggrin_25522:

As Ron White would say " all the way to the scene of the crash!" Looks good, go with it. I agree with the others though, don't give the companies any ideas. Next thing you know, you're headed out on a P&D with a set like that.

It was just in the yard... to be honest, I never moved more than three trailers at a time. I just hooked the long box and pulled out the front short box. At no time were all the landing gears raised/air lines connected. I would probably have gotten about half a mile before someone would have called me in had I left the yard.

I think the hardest part would be keeping the air pressure up on a tractor and all four trailers.

Not very far..........We did this at FedEx Ground once in the yard. Hooked 7 pups up just to see what it looked like. I used to run some short trips (under 3 miles) out of the Phoenix hub years back. Usually it was about 4 or 6 pups per night which is either 2 or 3 sets. Anytime I had an odd number to run I really considered hooking up a set of triples (illegal in AZ) to cut down on the number of trips. After all, it was only 3 miles down sparsely populated roads at midnight. I never had the guts to do it though. In my case, I'm sure I would have been caught.

I don't think it would be any worse than keeping a 13 axle aired up. Believe it or not but that combo would be easier around a corner than a non steerable 12 or 13 because it breaks so many times.
