Was it windy? That's a flatbedder's nemesis. I was once in the middle of strapping down one pallet when the wind kicked up. It took me three days to strap it down. Don't even get me started on folding tarps. As I type this, I'm literally still folding a tarp from two months ago. At least that's how the nightmare always plays out.
TMC. They say it stands for "Tarping Marine Corps". Pretty rare to see these guys running without a tarp. Legend says they even made a guy tarp a load of tarps.
That's me every time I load next to conestogas. 15 of those guys will load around me before I leave. Sucks for me....lol
Have had loads take up to 10 hours to load, secure and tarp. All depends on the load. Sometimes I get slack and lazy on an easy load, take my time, cause I got no need for speed on it.
I thought it stood for "Tarp More Crap". Although, it's rare to see a flappy tarp on a TMC...they are like a Marine's bunk...tight.
