At least I'll look cool while eating Ramen noodles in the truck.

Plus you can polish it all you want while it's parked out side of a 30 year old single wide while you take off a full 7 days unpaid

You get paid in phone calls asking when you're ready to come back out .

With the bonus at the end of the year, will probably be around 52 cents per mile. Not that bad. Especially if you don’t have to drive a t680 and have all the nanny stuff. But, I don’t know anything about the company. Probably better there than the others getting laid off these days..

If you take the full 7 days off after staying out 4 weeks you would have to run a minimum of 3000 miles per week to get an average just under 2500 miles in a 5 week period. 45cpm is only 1125$ at 2500 miles. That's only 58000$ a year, IF they give you the bonus. which you can bet it's got strings attached, you would only have made 68k for the year . You basically need to stay out months at a time to make a average income .

Yea, a lot of those bonuses are hard to get with all the string attached. If you don’t take all seven days off and I think they run reefer 70k “may” be achievable. Nothing wrong with 70k for driving a truck. I ran for a company at 48 cents and made 77k. I thought it was a decent gig. Also put me in. 389 with a 2WS. Wouldn’t be where I am today without the lessons learned by some older drivers and the owner.
