Gross to the truck. Monthly gross should average 20,000 minimum, not taking into account extended leave.
So there is no hard and fast rule.
Plus, some old guy, or younger guy that likes fishing more than working, with a paid for truck may only work 6 to 8 months a year.
The big thing, is the title of that truck in your name or are you making the payments? Then you are the owner. Wheather you choose to run your own authority or lease it to a company is your decision.

Unacceptable. Need hard number. What someone needs or how they spend their earnings is irrelevant.

    Not in your original post.

So, both you and I aren’t real owner operators, so personal net before taxes I say - $500/day, after ALL expenses.

Can’t go week unless you define ‘week’.

No, because as I previously stated, I do not operate under my own authority. But Owner Operator is s term that has been misused for a long long time, as has been previously inadvertently pointed out by another poster.

No with LS like @Dave_in_AZ -

But I have clear title to truck and 2 trailers.

    So what am I?
