But nowhere does it say you have to be payed 100% of the fsc. Those are more pay related regulations.

The amounts you agree to haul for are up to you.

Just like it says you have to give someone a rated freight bill. Ok, here's your FB. Is it the real rate?

Pay in 15 days. That's kinda expected I'd think.

    Statement of written deductions. Standard.

That's a lot of fluff to boil down to what I wrote in 3 sentences lol.

OP. You're new to the O/O world. Are you currently a big truck driver?

Yes, you're right. But it did write "I think". That gives me permission to be wrong and call for a mulligan.

Let's get a couple things straight.

What you get is the to the truck portion of the load. The carrier gives you that as part of the settlement for the load. This is the gross to the truck, it doesn't matter if they take 10, 20 or 40%, that does not matter, it is what you get that does.

This is all spelled out in your contract which has to exist.

There is no regulation(s) that govern the agreement other than how the escrow is handled, how the disclosure of the billable (accounts receivables) are to take place. Fsc and other accessorial fees are all spelled out in the contract.

So if the load is $1500 to the truck, you take your expenses right from that.

Guess you don't run the numbers...!!
75% of 1,500 = 1,125 with (fsc) to the truck
    1,500 - 225 (fsc) = 1,275
    75% of 1 275 = 956.25
    956.25 + 225 (fsc)= 1,181.25 to the truck
So by taking the fsc out 1st you make $56.25 MORE and the company makes LESS...

Tell me again how what they're doing is making them more
