    This is simply another case of insufficient training. Sadly for this driver, it will go on his driving record for 3 years. New drivers are on their way to destroyed careers before they even get started due to lack of quality training.

    Lack of training? I think he was well trained in fire hydrant repair after run over by semi trailer

    Yep. Drive up another 15 feet, then cut it over and stay tight to the curb he would have been fine. Maybe drove over the curb a bit but def would have missed the hydrant.
