Driving a new automatic international truck.
Sometimes, when I slow down to get myself ready to back up my trl, the truck's horn will start gently beeping in a consistent rhythm. It'll beep either driving forward or backwards and it wont stop until I shut off the engine. Nothing shows up on the dash to indicate any problem, all my gages are functioning normal, and my doors are properly closed. As I said, this does not always happen, and as far as I can tell, there is no significant difference in what I do when it beeps and when it doesn't beep.
Least to say, I find the beeping very annoying, but am unable to figure out how to make it stop. Does anyone know what I need to do or stop doing in order to make this annoyance go away?
    Thank you.

My city horn would randomly make noise. I just disconnected it.

Find a diesel repair shop run by latinos. They'll fix you up. Of course it'll be on your own dime.

Mine beeps like that if I don't have my tractor brakes set and I open the drivers door. Perhaps the door switch is malfunctioning, then when you release the brakes to leave, the computer thinks your door is open.

A constant rhythmic beeping is due to improper safety interlocks such as door open while parking brake not set, or key off with parking brake not set or sometimes if programmed, no seat belt. There may be others too, but like mentioned, a door switch or other sensor may be faulty and setting a false state to cause this. You may need to visit a dealer if you aren't causing any infractions yourself.
