Well, you should probably do that then, because Im gonna tell you, you weren't even around for the fun days of trucking, and those days are long gone, and they aint coming back. Times are different now, and if you still wanna truck, your gonna have to adapt, and thats all there is to it.

You got that right. The good days of CB talk, real truckers etc... are over.

It's funny how the guys that actually say they were trucking back when it was fun are, so dead set on elogs. There is nothing wrong with old trucks, but I guess only farmers could testify to that. And there are many things wrong with elog. And the fact that the law makers shoving them in our face do not hardly know what a truck drives like, or how to drive one really bothers me.

Well, your wrong again. Im not dead set on elogs. What I am is practical in understanding WHY we have come to a point where we HAVE elogs, and WHO is ultimately responsible.
I also know that its a done deal, and it was a long time ago, and no amount of Whining and crying is going to change it. This isn't the first regulation to come down the pike, and Im willing to bet it aint the last, and there was never a regulation that was turned back.

Better yet why ask. Everyone is different, and driven by different motives. Or not.
