Hurricane Express stay away

I had one of their idiot drivers come up to me in Ontario California trying to recruit me… I told him there’s no way in hell you’ll ever get me to go over there... his claim is you’ll never bring home less than 1200 a week... and claims he’s driving a brand new 579 ultra loft with a payment of 345 a week which we all know is BS...

this is his truck... he kept on insisting that there’s no place but hurricane that you’ll be able to make 1200 a week take-home... I pretty much told him to go take a flying leap

 

Did that Pete have one fuel tank or two?

 

And now they've got people leasing pride and class 389s that run 75mph. They took a page right out of WFXs playbook on that one. I had one playing leapfrog with me all the way through NM on i40 the other night. My little Volvo 760 with 455hp and an ishift runs 72, and he couldn't stay with me on a hill to save his life. I know #### well there's no way he's getting more than 4-4.5mpgs in that 389 running that fast. He'll go broke, but I guess he'll look good doing it.

 

If you're in a lease/purchase you're not an owner/operator. You're a lease driver and a sucker in the company's eyes.
They will #### you hard and fast without the benefit of lube.
Maybe not all companies are like that but the vast majority are.
Its a hard expensive lesson.

 

From what I can comprehend.

OP failed to read any agreement he signed, then threw a tantrum when they start deducting agreed to expenses from his settlements. He’s upset that he can’t hammer down and get 4.5mpg while the company pays for his bad driving habits. The BBB gets a chuckle out his every call.

But everyone knows Hurricane Express has had a long history of not telling the exact truth. Sure the trucks are nice and shiny but I have yet to see a Hurricane guy jump on here and show us some real income. My momma always said if it seems to good, its probably not true son. Good things come with hard work.

 

The payment of 345 is true but you pay that if you lease only , now if you plan on buying the truck it's 600 something a week. If they were a company driver only outfit they might be worth looking into with the lands they run. Salinas CA to hunts point

$1200 take home per week? Great, sign me up so I can take a cut in pay, and get to chase produce all over California and Arizona, just so I can go to Hunts Point in the Bronx.
