    I dont think so. But I'm not sure. Most of our solos run daycabs and the passenger side has computers taking up space. We do have some solo sleeper trucks. You can call them or check rlcdrivers.com

    Ok cool. We have been here a year. We dont see other teams that much since we're dedicated out of Louisville. Havent even been to Wilmington. We dont talk to Central unless they call us. So we dont know much about policies like riders. There is an online portal for employees at employees.rlc.com. there is an employees manual which may have more info about riders.

    Our 1st full year has gone well. We both grossed over 85k on our final pay check. We are now using one paycheck for paying off old debt and living off the other. At this rate we will be totally debt free in 2 to 3 years! I can handle no more payments to anyone!

    Great info here! My brother drives for a mega right now and I will be going to cdl school next month. He has over twenty yrs exp.and we will be teaming up. I know that I need to get some time under my belt but am trying to line up our options for the future. We are from Florida and I see R&L trucks in my normal driving all the time. After reading your thread R&L has to be included on my wish list. Thanks.

    Just keep in mind that every experience is different. Depends on the terminal. Good news we just received another company wide raise. Comes out to 21 dollars each a week. Hey we'll take it! Good luck to you both.

    I appreciate the advice. We will both be somewhat unemcumbered, as our children are grown, he's divorced, and I will probably soon be also. The point being that even though we are from central Florida, we will be mobile. We could locate anywhere we wanted to, but there's not much info on R&L in the forums. I'd like to hear about some Florida terminals, but maybe like ODFL, their drivers are too busy making miles to post much.

    We decided not to go with ODFL. They. wanted us to train separately for 4 to 6 weeks. We both have many yeaes of experience. Just show us where your terminals are and how to use your computer.Wife had a bad experience with a male trainer at another company years ago. Nothing happened but he kept making suggestions about sex. LEFT HER AT A TRUCK STOP 3 HRS FROM HOME. Told company she was 'uncooperative and not a team player' Since I was thousands of miles away she had to get her mom to pick her up.She told the company and they gave her another trainer who the first day said she was a better driver than himself. Let's just say if I ever see that first trainer we are gonna have a little 'talk'
