Blitz starting tomorrow, get your equipment in order. I just did a thorough posttrip and found an air leak. Put it in the shop right away. Stay CSA free my friends!
-
Mt Vernon IL is usually full of bears with trucks pulled over.
bzinger Thanks this. -
Good ! I'm tired of window lickers in trucks .
-
Man these extortion pros can kick rocks. Go stop the problem not the pros. Only 4% of US road accidents involve truckers, and 80% of those is the fault of the passenger car.
Yes we do need some compliance, but not CSA points because of oil residue, these rock heads are going to drive all the good truckers straight out of this business then they better watch they back when writing tickets roadside and that rookie cell phone distracted mega company driver plows into the back of himjethro712, BoostedTeg, mladen86 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well like it or not that oil residue is part of your pretrip in making sure there aren’t any leaks. Got to do your due diligence!!
bzinger Thanks this. -
Oh dam that. You can't be serious. What effect does a bit of oil residues have on fatality accidents?? What if someone doesn't want to drop a couple of thousand $ to fix a weeping rear main seal
They can kick rocks. They don't even use turn signals I catch em all them time driving in the rain with no lights onBoostedTeg and bzinger Thank this. -
What is doing a pre trip going to magically pay for some expensive repairs for minor purposes. If I got oil seeping that's my business, dot should go out and go police dangerous people, u know, like the men who beat on their women and children
-
Dot is a burden on business. Point blank
-
I never knew an oil leak would cause a truck to run full steam ahead into stopped traffic. Oil leaks won't cause a truck to follow too close or take a curve too fast, either. Please explain how oil seeping causes any safety issues, because I'd like to know.
misterG and HopeOverMope Thank this.
