    Black Ice is just a thin coating and has minimal air bubbles, making it nearly invisible, and you can see the black roadway like it wasn't even there. As ice coatings thicken the more air bubbles make it appear white.

    Unless you have chains or studded tires you cannot drive on ice. Sometimes you can't even park on ice!

    It doesn't matter when you have a 14 hr gauntlet and pimple faced dispatcher on your keester to keep rolling. A few trucks wrecked are considered acceptable losses to the megas.

    Just one more reason that nobody should dispatch, if they have never driven extensively.
