I got into an accident

A bit early for an injury attorney I think.
Unless you plan on suing them.

 

If he reports it and you don’t, your insurance *might* drop you for failure to report an accident.

Also, check the law for your state, but where I live you’re required by law to report any accident where there is more than $1,000 in property damage to the police.

As far as who is at fault, the insurance companies will decide that.
